The Ministry of Social Welfare has published a notification for the recruitment of 17 employees in various posts under the revenue sector. Appointments will be made in four categories. Interested candidates will have to apply online.
- Shorthand cum Computer Operator
No. of Posts: 7
Eligibility: Graduation or equivalent degree from a recognized university. Computer trained. Must have a speed of 70 words per minute in English and 45 words per minute in Bengali in shorthand. Proficiency in word processing, e-mail, fax management on a computer.
Age: Not more than 32 years (relaxable up to 40 years for departmental candidates).
Pay Scale: 11,000-26,590 taka (Grade-13)
- Computer Operator
No. of Posts: 4
Eligibility: Graduation (Honours) or equivalent degree in Science from a recognized university. Computer typing speed of 30 words per minute in English and 25 words per minute in Bengali.
Age: 32 years

- Office Assistant cum Computer Typist
No. of Posts: 2
Eligibility: HSC or equivalent pass. Computer trained. Computer typing speed of 20 words per minute in English and 20 words per minute in Bengali.
Age: Not more than 32 years (relaxable up to 40 years for departmental candidates).
Salary Scale: 9,300-22,490 Taka (Grade-16)
- Office Assistant
No. of Posts: 4
Eligibility: SSC or equivalent pass.
Age: 18 to 32 years.
Salary Scale: 8,250-20,010 Taka (Grade-20)

Application Fee
The examination fee must be submitted via SMS from Teletalk’s prepaid number within 72 hours of filling the form online.
Fee for positions 1 to 3 is 100 Taka + 12 Taka service charge, totaling 112 Taka.
Fee for position 4 is 50 Taka + 6 Taka service charge, totaling 56 Taka.
Fee for backward citizens (minor ethnic groups/physically disabled/third gender) candidates is 50 Taka + 6 Taka service charge, totaling 56 Taka.
