Everyone needs to make a concerted effort to maintain good law and order in Pangsha Upazila. Parents should be aware and keep a special eye on their children, where they are mingling with whom and spending time.
A social movement should be developed to eradicate drugs in cities and villages. There has been a conscious campaign against sand mining in the Padma River area and more will be done. If someone mines soil for their own work in accordance with the law, they must do so with permission. However, if they want to sell soil for business, they must take permission from the District Administrator, otherwise strict action will be taken.
Pangsha Upazila Executive Officer SM Abu Darda said these things at the monthly law and order committee meeting in Pangsha, Rajbari. The meeting was held at the Upazila Parishad auditorium on Thursday (January 30). Assistant Commissioner (Land) Md. Aminul Islam and Pangsha Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge Mohammad Salauddin spoke at the meeting.
Pangsha Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge Mohammad Salauddin urged the public to provide information and help the police. He said that drug dealers and gunmen are staying under the umbrella of local leaders and they do not belong to any party.
