Meteorological Department provides new information about cold wave and rain

The intensity of the cold has decreased slightly as the fog has cleared and the sun has peeked out. However, the effect of fog from late night to morning remains the same. Although the feeling of cold has decreased due to the sunlight during the day, the temperature may increase in the next two days. However, the Meteorological Department has announced the possibility of rain in the northeastern part of the country in the next five days.

Meteorologist Bazlur Rashid said that the weather across the country will remain dry for the next three days and there is no possibility of rain. During this time, the sky may remain temporarily partly cloudy. Light to moderate fog will fall from midnight to morning. There is also a possibility of moderate to dense fog in some places in the river basins of the country on January 28-29.

He also said that the mild cold wave in Sirajganj, Dinajpur and Moulvibazar may continue in the next 24 hours. However, there is no possibility of much change in the night and day temperatures.

Night and day temperatures may increase slightly across the country until 9 am on Tuesday. Night temperatures may increase by 1 to 3 degrees Celsius across the country during the same period on Wednesday. The Meteorological Department has informed that the daytime temperature may also increase slightly during this time.

The lowest temperature in the country in Dinajpur on Monday morning was 9.5 degrees Celsius. The lowest temperature in Dhaka was 15.7 degrees Celsius. In this situation, the Meteorological Department has said that there is a possibility of rain in the northeastern part of the country during the first five days of the extended period.
